About Threads of Time

Threads of Time is a sweeping time-bending novel of reincarnation, heartbreak, and redemption, weaving together magical realism and historical fiction in a deeply emotional narrative. Spanning three continents and three lives, the story explores how love endures—and falters—across time.

In 1750s Italy, Rosalind and Sebastian fall in love, only to be torn apart by betrayal and a cursed potion that binds their souls to a cycle of rebirth.
In 1930s France, fate gives them another chance—but war steals it away.

And in modern-day Seattle, they’re drawn together by dreams they can’t explain and a connection they can’t deny. But unless they can uncover the truth of their past and break the ancient curse, they risk losing each other once more.

Threads of Time is a standalone novel with series potential. A companion novel, Veins of Time, is already in the works, set to follow a supporting character and explore the ripple effects of the curse.

About the Author

Alisa Stafa Mullaj is a professor of English Literature, a lifelong reader, and a passionate advocate for stories that connect across generations. She lives in Michigan with her husband, two children, and her beloved cat, Luna—who, as a kitten, often perched on her shoulder while she wrote and inspired one of the book’s magical characters.

Before Threads of Time, Alisa self-published two successful titles:

Expressions from a Teenager’s Heart (poetry, sold out)
Hope Love Heartbreak (short stories, sold out)

She leads a monthly local book club, champions up-and-coming writers, and is currently developing a free support group called Writers Motivating Writers to help aspiring authors find community and courage.
